Ames Manufacturing makes two kinds of suction screens, the Self Cleaning Screen and the Flood Screen. 

The SLC is one of the most rugged self cleaning screens on the market today.  We use stainless steel mesh that filters out all trash larger than 1/8".

The Flood Screen is built out of heavy duty steel mesh.  It is available with different sizes of mesh to suit your individual needs.

The SCL is the strongest and most dependable self cleaning screen on the market today.

The SCL is made in two sizes.  The SLC1628 is 16" tall and 28" in diameter and can handle flows up to 2000gpm.  THe SLC2036 is 20" tall and 36" in diameter and can handle flows up to 4000gpm.

The SCL uses the biggest bearing in the industry to insure dependability and a long life.  The spray bar is made of schedule 80 PVC with brass nozzles to ensure a uniform cleaning pattern.

The standard screen on the SLC is 8 mesh stainless steel.  You can remove the screen by simply removing two bolts, making it easy to work on the spray bar.

The Flood Screen is a rugged screen built to last.  

The FLD comes in two different sizes.  The FLD1628 is 16" tall and 28" in diameter and can handle flows up to 4000gpm.  The FLD2036 is 20" tall and 36" in diameter and can handle flows up to 7000gpm.

The FLD comes with either 8 gauge wire screen with 1/2" openings or 4 gauge wire screen with 1" openings.
